Mission Accomplished!

Dana and Noelia delivered our Party-in-a-Bag donations to the women and children's shelter The Bridge Over Troubled Waters.  Rebecca Kyles received our gifts on behalf of the Bridge.  Well done, Zeta Omega members, for your creative and generous gifts.  Some children and teens will have a bit nicer birthday because of your generosity of time, talent, and finance.

2011-2012 Chapter Project

Our chapter project this year is Party-in-a-Bag.  For this we will prepare an assortment of items needed for a child's birthday party and bring the completed bags to our Birthday Celebration in November.  These bags will be taken to a local shelter for women and children in the hopes of helping a child have a truly happy birthday.  Please prepare for ten children at a party.

Items to include in the reusable tote bag are:
  • Drinks and snacks in individual packets (chips, pretzels, cookies, candy, etc.) No peanuts, please.
  • Disposable birthday themed table cloths, napkins, plates.  Happy birthday banner and a roll of streamers.  Candles.
  • Party favors, hats, noise makers, etc.
  • An assortment of small wrapped gifts, (It would be well to include a book.)  a special gift, and some necessities such as toiletries or a blanket.
These are suggestions only.  Please feel free to assemble your bag as you wish.  The bags should be marked to identify the gender and age range of the intended recipient.
